Soup’s On Saturday, January 17th, 2015!

The Connecticut Daylily Society kicks off the new year with its popular “Soup’s On!” meeting on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Avon Senior Center.  Hybridizer Lori-Ann Jones of Knoll Cottage Daylilies will present her hybridizing program which features her “Honking Big” daylilies.  See Ms. Jones’ beautiful daylily creations at http://knollcottagedaylilies.blogspot.com/

Come join this fun event which is guaranteed to keep the winter doldrums at bay!   Social hour begins at noon at which time conversation as well as members’ hearty and delicious soups will be shared.  Following a brief business meeting at 1:00, Ms. Jones’ program of slides and conversation will begin at 1:30.

This event is free of charge and the public is invited to attend.

The Avon Senior Center is located at the Sycamore Hills Recreation Center, 635 West Avon.  Road (Rt. 167) at the junction of Sycamore and Scoville Roads.
