Mr. Bouman’s garden, dubbed Daylily Lay with a whimsical nod to Bob Dylan, is a lakeside oasis complete with ducks, geese and heron where he grows over 1,000 hardy hybrid daylilies, and Bouman created this extraordinary garden in just four years! His garden is located in zone 5b so his daylilies are hardy throughout Connecticut. Mr. Bouman’s beautiful daylilies can be viewed on his website: http://www.daylilylay.com/index.htm
This event is free of charge and open to the public. A social hour will commence at noon, followed by a brief business meeting. Mr. Bouman’s program of slides and conversation will begin at 1:30.
The Avon Senior Center is located at the Sycamore Hills Recreation Center, 635 West Avon. Road (Rt. 167) at the junction of Sycamore and Scoville Roads.
