On Saturday, September 28, 2019, the Connecticut Daylily Society welcomes Eric Simpson of Blue Ridge Daylilies, Western North Carolina’s largest selection of premium quality daylilies. Eric’s hybridizing focus involves northern hardy plants with outstanding plant habits and colorful appeal. Primarily, he strives for round-ruffled, eyed and edged, and blue-eyed and patterned daylilies, with a recent interest in unusual forms. He practically does it all!

The Connecticut Daylily Society’s social hour with delicious and popular potluck lunch begins at noon, followed by a brief business meeting and Eric’s presentation at 1 pm. As always, there will be fabulous daylily door prizes, and attendance is absolutely free of charge. CDS invites anyone with a passion for plants!
The Avon Senior Center is located at 635 West Avon Road in Avon, CT at the junction of Sycamore and Scoville Roads (at the Sycamore Hills Recreation Center).
