Daylily Sale Today!

What a great day to get some gorgeous new daylilies!  This is to remind you that the Connecticut Daylily Society hold its annual Daylily and Plant Sale today, Saturday, May 21st from 10 am until 2 pm on the Avon Senior Center grounds at 635 West Avon Road in Avon, CT.  Hundreds of member-grown hardy daylilies will be available in all colors, sizes and forms, including doubles and spiders and early and late blooming varieties, at very attractive pricing well below retail.

Many of the choice varieties available at this sale are rarely available locally, and the plants for sale have shown themselves to be very well suited to the Connecticut climate.  The sale is “rain or shine” but the weather report looks great.  These cultivars all have photos and descriptive data to help you make the very best choices!  Daylily Society members are also available to answer questions and to advise on your daylily selections.

An amazing array, expert advice, and tempting pricing await you with prices starting at just $5 per double fan (two plants) division.  The sale also features some companion perennials, and some daylilies in pots — all CT grown and hardy.  Arrive early for the best selection.

Proceeds from the sale are used to fund the organization’s free educational programs, all of which are open to the public.
