The Connecticut Daylily Society will kick off its 2015-2016 program series on Saturday, September 12 with a photo retrospection of the Society’s recent regional summer meeting. This presentation will showcase the four outstanding tour gardens featured during this peak July bloom season event. CDS member and photographer Greg Haggett of Suffield will present his program at 1:30 pm at the Avon Senior Center in Avon, CT.
A Social Hour will begin at noon, followed by a brief business meeting at 1 pm during which new officers and board members will be elected.
The Connecticut Daylily Society invites all interested gardeners to attend this event which is free of charge and open to the public. Come enjoy fabulous photos, food, fellowship, and door prizes!
The Avon Senior Center is located at the Sycamore Hills Recreation Center, 635 West Avon Road (Rt. 167) at the junction of Sycamore and Scoville Roads.
